Shipping & delivery policy
Last updated: 21 October 2026
1. Where we deliver
Lasaki Step Up Pvt Ltd dispatches from our factory in Khurja, Uttar Pradesh to business addresses throughout India. We do not deliver to residential addresses or to individual consumers — this is a business-to-business supply only.
For export enquiries, contact us directly. Export orders are handled separately and are not covered by this policy.
2. Dispatch times
Every product page shows when that product is dispatched, and your cart shows the same for each line:
- In stock — finished pieces are on our shelf and are packed for dispatch once we confirm your order.
- Made to order – ships in N days — we make the pieces for you. N is that product's own number of days, counted from the date we confirm your order, not the date you submit it.
An order is never refused because a product is not on the shelf: what is not in stock is made for you. Custom work — your own shapes, glazes, artwork or private labels — is not on the product pages; we give you its timing with the quotation.
Dispatch times are estimates, not guarantees. Kiln scheduling, glaze firing cycles and seasonal demand all affect timing. Where a delay is likely we will tell you as soon as we know, rather than at the point the order was due.
3. Packing
Standard packing is corrugated cartons with corrugated dividers between pieces. Heavy and fragile lines — planters, vases, large platters — ship in double-wall cartons with foam protection. Tiles are interleaved with paper. Retail ranges can be supplied in retail-ready inner boxes on request.
Packing is designed for long-distance road transport within India. If your goods will be handled more than usual — multiple transhipments, onward export, or a final-mile courier — tell us at the time of ordering so we can pack accordingly. Additional protective packing may be chargeable.
4. Freight and transport
Unless agreed otherwise in writing, freight is not included in product prices and is arranged either by you or through our regular transporters and billed at actuals.
You may nominate your own transporter. If you do, we will deliver the consignment to them and our responsibility ends at that point. If we arrange transport on your behalf, we do so as your agent and at your cost; we are not a carrier and do not accept the liabilities of one.
Freight estimates given before dispatch are indicative. The final amount is whatever the transporter charges.
5. Transfer of risk
Risk in the goods passes to you when they are handed to the transporter at our factory. From that moment the consignment travels at your risk, whether transport was arranged by you or by us on your behalf.
Title in the goods remains with us until payment is received in full, notwithstanding that risk has already passed.
We recommend insuring consignments in transit, particularly for high-value or long-distance shipments. We can arrange transit insurance on request, at your cost.
6. Damage in transit — what you must do
This section decides whether a damage claim can be pursued at all, so please follow it exactly:
- Inspect cartons before signing. Check for crushed corners, water staining, torn tape or the sound of loose pieces.
- Note any damage on the transporter's delivery documentation at the time of receipt. A clean signature is an acknowledgement that the goods arrived in good order.
- Photograph the damage — the outer carton before opening, the packing inside, and the affected pieces.
- Report to us within 48 hours of delivery, quoting your order number, with the photographs and a copy of the noted delivery receipt.
Where a claim is properly documented we will pursue it with the transporter and, at our discretion, replace or credit the affected pieces.
7. Shortages and discrepancies
Count your cartons against the delivery documentation on receipt. Shortages, wrong items or discrepancies must be reported within 7 days of delivery, quoting your order number. After that period the consignment is taken to have been delivered complete and correct.
8. Part shipments
Large or mixed orders may be dispatched in parts, for example where one line is in stock and another is still in production. If part shipment is not acceptable for your requirement, tell us when ordering and we will hold the order until it is complete.
9. Failed or refused delivery
If a delivery cannot be completed because the address was wrong, no one was available to receive it, or the consignment was refused without cause, any resulting demurrage, storage or return freight is payable by you.
10. Minimum order
Orders are subject to a minimum order value, shown in your cart and currently ₹10,000 excluding GST and freight. There is no minimum quantity on individual products. See our ordering information page for the practical detail.
