Terms & conditions

These terms govern the sale of goods by Lasaki Step Up Pvt Ltd to business customers through lasakiceramics.com. By placing an order you accept them.

1. Business customers only

We supply to businesses. Access to pricing and ordering requires an account approved by us. We may approve, decline, suspend or withdraw access at our discretion, and we may ask for evidence that you are trading as a business.

2. Orders are requests until confirmed

An order placed on the website is an order request, not a concluded contract. A contract is formed only when we confirm the order in writing. We confirm availability, freight and final pricing before dispatch. We may decline any order request.

3. Pricing

Prices shown to your account are exclusive of GST, freight, insurance and any other charges unless stated otherwise. Prices are those applying at the time of order confirmation, not at the time the item was added to a cart. We may change prices without notice; confirmed orders are unaffected.

Volume pricing, where offered, applies to the quantity on a single confirmed order line and is not cumulative across orders.

4. Minimum order value

Orders are subject to a minimum order value, shown in your cart and currently ₹10,000 excluding GST and freight. There is no minimum quantity on individual products; you may order any quantity of any item provided the order total meets the minimum.

5. Colour, finish and variation

Ceramics are fired products. Minor variation in shade, glaze thickness, crazing pattern and dimensions is inherent to the process and is not a defect. This is more pronounced on reactive glazes and hand-painted items, where every piece differs by design.

Product photographs are representative. Where exact colour matching matters — for example topping up an existing service — we recommend ordering the full requirement in a single batch and requesting a sample beforehand.

6. Delivery and risk

Dispatch times — "In stock", or "Made to order – ships in N days" as shown on each product — and any lead time quoted for custom work are estimates from the date of order confirmation and are not guaranteed. Unless agreed otherwise in writing, freight is arranged by the buyer or through our regular transporters and billed at actuals. Risk passes to the buyer when the goods are handed to the transporter.

Transit damage must be noted on the transporter's delivery documentation at the time of receipt and reported to us within 48 hours with photographs. Claims made after that, or without a noted delivery receipt, cannot be pursued with the transporter.

7. Inspection and shortages

Please inspect goods on receipt. Shortages or discrepancies must be reported within 7 days of delivery, quoting the order number.

8. Returns

Goods manufactured to a customer specification — custom shapes, custom glazes, printing or private-label packaging — are not returnable. Catalogue goods may be returned only with our prior written agreement, unused and in original packing; a restocking charge may apply.

Manufacturing defects are replaced or credited at our option once verified. Our returns, refunds & cancellations policy sets out the reporting time limits, the difference between a defect and normal variation in handmade goods, and how refunds are issued. It forms part of these terms.

9. Payment

First orders are on advance payment. Credit terms may be extended to established customers at our discretion and are confirmed on the order acknowledgement. Title in the goods remains with us until payment is received in full. Overdue amounts may attract interest and may result in suspension of account access.

10. Account security

Your account is accessed with your registered mobile number and the password we give you. Keep the password to yourself, and tell us immediately if you think somebody else knows it or if your number changes or is lost. You are responsible for orders placed through your account.

11. Intellectual property

All content on this website — product photography, descriptions, designs and text — belongs to us and may not be reproduced without written permission.

12. Liability

Our liability in respect of any order is limited to the invoice value of the goods concerned. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss, including loss of profit or business interruption.

13. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India. Disputes are subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts at Bulandshahr, Uttar Pradesh.
